I'm a terrible blogger...

I almost forgot my password to log into my Blogger account! Awful.

The thing is, life has been so incredibly busy lately and I don't see it ending anytime soon. While I do love my new job, it's been a tough adjustment getting used to being gone from 7:30-5pm every day. On Monday nights I go to a step class at 5:15 for an hour, on Tuesday and Thursday nights I'm at yoga from 5:30-6:30, and I'm running a 10k in May that I'm trying to train on the "dreadmill" for, so I do that on Wednesday nights. After all those things are over with I get home, make dinner, clean the kitchen, and before you know it, it's 9pm.

Other than that, life is same old, same old! Brad and I are taking every opportunity to enjoy our child-free, easygoing lifestyle cause hopefully by the end of the year we'll start working on changing that! We've got a trip planned to Florida at the end of March with friends, and summer....summer is the reason we live up here! Grill out every night, on the lake every weekend, going out to podunk lodge bars at night. Needless to say, we can't wait til then!

Unfortunately, it's still very much winter up here...and will be for about another month. All you warm weather folks, take advantage of it!

I found this protein powder at my local grocery store this week, which was nothing short of a miracle since you're lucky to find anything "specialty" around here. I've been thinking about doing a protein shake after my yoga class just to see if I notice a difference, so running into this gave me a good chance to try it out.

The best thing about this powder is that it's a whey protein concentrate, and it's all natural. There's no added sugars, additives, etc. Here's how I made my protein shake:

1/2c Protein Powder
1 Banana
1C Vanilla Soy Milk
Ice
a little squirt of agave nectar for sweetness

I didn't have super high hopes for how it would taste, but it was really good! I think the soy milk made a big difference. I drank it all easily :)

So...here's to big ripped muscles, haha!
