who knew

I found this protein powder at my local grocery store this week, which was nothing short of a miracle since you're lucky to find anything "specialty" around here. I've been thinking about doing a protein shake after my yoga class just to see if I notice a difference, so running into this gave me a good chance to try it out.

The best thing about this powder is that it's a whey protein concentrate, and it's all natural. There's no added sugars, additives, etc. Here's how I made my protein shake:

1/2c Protein Powder
1 Banana
1C Vanilla Soy Milk
Ice
a little squirt of agave nectar for sweetness

I didn't have super high hopes for how it would taste, but it was really good! I think the soy milk made a big difference. I drank it all easily :)

So...here's to big ripped muscles, haha!

    Sounds great!! You should try some rice milk or almond milk too! Soy kind of gets a bad rap these days, although I still like to drink it in my lattes! Way to go on using Agave nectar! Have you tried their different flavors yet? Do you freeze your bananas?
